Photomarathon

Don’t worry, we haven’t changed the rules. But we do have some exciting news to share with you. For the first time ever, three international Photomarathons – in Cardiff, Copenhagen and Berlin – will be sharing a common topic.

The topic itself will be kept secret until the very day of the Potomarathon –which for Cardiff and Berlin is Saturday June 16. However, after the event, each city will select three “ambassador” photographs in this chosen topic, to be sent to the other two cities, for display during their annual Photomarathon exhibition. Later in October, in Berlin, the photos from Cardiff and Copenhagen will be displayed alongside those from Berlin as part of the European Month of Photography.

The Photomarathons of Copenhagen, Berlin and Cardiff are pioneers in the international network of Fotomarathons, celebrating 22, 12 and 9 years of organising events in these capital cities. More information can be found at the two competition websites;
